we stayed for 3 nights n the hotel was lovely and clean. staff were super friendly and polite, made us feel welcomed! had a great view of the airport from our room. also, it was easy to catch the bus to the seafront, really close bus stop too. would def stay here again when we come back to southend!

parking charges were a bit confusing and we had some trouble with air con controls. would have liked better cleaning from the room service.

We had an amazing stay in a spacious Superior King Room, where the view from our room was delightful. The comfortable bed made for a restful night, and we thoroughly enjoyed the exceptional dinner with beautifully cooked lamb. the sofa bed was not as comfortable as expected. Would definitely return!

I had a slight wait for my meal, but the flavors definitely made up for it.

Staff were super friendly – had this nice chat with the bartender while watching planes take off. The bed was comfy and the view from the bar was really something, saw all those planes landing like it was nothing.

None of the windows in my room opened, which made for a somewhat claustrophobic experience, especially with the heating set to an uncomfortable level. Despite checking the restaurant earlier, I encountered a long wait just to be seated, and inefficiencies in bar service left me feeling like an overlooked ghost. The food I ordered was pricey for its quality and didn't meet my expectations, making for a frustrating dining experience.
